We provide a wide range of services including General Consultations, Vaccinations, Minor Surgery, Pathology, Hearing Checks, plus Many More.

General Consultations

All medical needs are looked after from babies through to senior citizens. Appointments can be made between 9.00am to 5.00pm on weekdays. You can book a routine appointment with a GP or the Practice Nurse in advance.


There is also limited number of same day appointments for urgent problems. If you consider your condition to be urgent, please make this clear to the receptionist.

Our staff is trained to assist in your wellbeing, so please inform our staff if you have a medical emergency which will be attended to or advised immediately.

If you need extra time for your consultation, please assist us by requesting double appointments at the time of making the appointment.

If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that it can be used for another patient.

Test Results

Results of blood tests, pathology, radiology tests will NOT be available over the phone. You are required to make an appointment to discuss your results for continuity of care and confidentiality. Please don’t request the staff for the same.

Repeat Prescriptions

Please do not wait until you have run out of medications.
Please ask for a repeat prescription when you have about one week’s supply left.

Medication Prescriptions need to be reviewed on a regular basis for monitoring side effects, review of blood pressure and diabetes. Bloods need to be checked regularly & also to check if medication is taken correctly.

Medical Emergencies

Chest pain, Severe Asthma, Poisoning or any symptoms that you feel needs urgent medical intervention please contact 000 for ambulance or proceed straight to the Emergency Department at Deniliquin District Hospital.

Home Visits:
We would respectfully remind patients that they should make every effort to attend the practice. Home visits may be arranged in the instance of inability to attend the practice because of your illness or are housebound by chronic disease.

Please remember several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time it takes to make a home visit, so if you can, please come into the surgery to be seen.

Our nursing staff is able to make a home visit & assessment and report to the doctor for further management.

Interpreter Service

We are a registered medical provider through TIS. Please let our staff know if you require an interpreter service during your appointment.

Referrals

Please make an appointment with the doctor prior to your specialist’s visits. Requests for referrals to be issued over the phone or from specialist’s rooms are not encouraged.

Dorevitch Pathology is available for all your pathology services.
